Call for New Artist Members

Become a member of the Buffalo Niagara Artist Association. We are a group of artists in the Western New York area. Our Association exhibits Spring and Fall juried shows in WNY galleries with cash prizes. The Spring Exhibit will be at Western New York Artist Group Gallery, 1 Linwood Ave, Buffalo in late May.

All media except video are welcome to apply. The BNAA accommodates both juried and associate member status. The 2025 sign up forms will come with your jury results.

Time: Drop Off 10:30 to 11:15 am 

Pick Up 12:00 to 12:30 pm

Please deliver art to the Community Room, straight ahead from the entrance. There is a small shop featuring local foods, an outdoor space, study areas and a dog park if you would like to wait. 

Requirements & Procedure:

• Artists deliver three framed artworks in a single medium to WNY Welcome Center Saturday March 22 from 10:30-11:15 am.
• Include a brief resume and Artist Statement.
• Professionally framed work should show consistency of style and have been completed no more than 3 years ago. Art must be original and not copied from print or other sources of copyrighted work. Please do not submit art completed in a class or workshop. 
• Label the back of each piece with your name and contact information. 
• There is no jury fee for artists, membership form will be mailed after jury date.
• Return to pick up the art work 12:00 to 12:30pm. You will be notified of the jury results by mail.

The Buffalo Niagara Art Association (BNAA) offers two levels of membership, an associate membership and a full membership.

Full membership is available to artists who have developed a high level of conceptual and technical mastery in the visuals arts. Applying artists must submit work to a jury for review by the BNAA board of directors.
